Since our last family picture was taken in 2006, when David was Kaytie's size and when Michael was shorter than Stephanie it was time for a new family picture. Professional photographers really make their money, but the sitting fee and then the print fee is definitely not in the budget with 6 children.
So we took a little ride up the canyon with Chet to be our button pusher. These are the results. It is impossible to get everyone with a nice face and eyes open and good smiles all at the same time. This picture was taken in the shade and it was CHILLY!! David wouldn't take his hood off, and I couldn't photoshop his face looking toward the camera with a pleasing result and the top of Michael's head is almost cut off, but all in all it is a really good amateur photograph. Anyway it fits our crazy family. It was a fun day and the kids had a good time playing in the leaves.
I can't decide which of the two photos to use on the wall. I like the way the family is situated in the first one, but this one is a better picture of everyone. (No heads are cut off, and David is actually looking at the camera)
Here are the kids, if you've seen some of our pictures from the past, I like log pictures. We just line the kids up on the log it would have been cool to do the oldest to youngest thing, but for obvious safety reasons with Kaytie that wouldn't be a good idea. It's a cute picture anyway.

We didn't get an individual picture of David, he had had enough!
