Jared celebrated his 10th birthday. I can't believe he's that old. We decided to have an outing for his birthday, so we (mom, Jared, and Kaytie) went out to lunch at Applebee's. He had a steak and said it was so good he wished he could eat there every day. I told him he would get tired of it every day, so he said once a week would be good.
We spent the day looking around the mall and Wal-mart and Jared picked his own gifts - no surprises this year. We had a small family party on Sunday, grandma and Uncle Chet came over.
Jared got a Harry Potter wand and glasses (Guess what he wants to be for Halloween??)
This year, Jared requested a repeat of his first birthday cake minus the coconut, so it was a chocolate cookie monster cake without the fur.
Kaytie even tasted a little bit of ice cream, she wasn't sure what she thought of it. 
The cold was definitely a new sensation for her, but I think she'll be spoiled now and never want to have healthy food.
